Math Tub Labels-- FREEBIE!

The other day I came across a really great post on math tubs.  Check it out at The First Grade Parade.  I've always wanted to implement math stations, but I've never been able to work it into my schedule.  This year, I think it's going to work perfectly and I'm so excited!  I'm sharing my math tub labels with you as a freebie!  There is a sign, 8 circular number signs, and a teacher planning sheet.  (I'll just tape the number signs onto baskets.)  I will have 22-24 students so I'm planning to have 8 different tubs to keep my groups small.  The students will do 1 station per day 4 times per week... so the 8 stations will last for two weeks!

(abeja.tejas@gmail.com) Also, I've looked on lettering delights to purchase this font(or graphics?), because I love it so much, but I can't find it. 17. I just want you to know that this is one of my favorite things in my classroom right now! The labels inspired me to do tubs instead of my old method!

I printed one set and attached them to those oval dollar store baskets with the holes in them. A plastic envelope with center instructions and any worksheets/recording sheets are also in the envelope, and the center supplies are in the baskets.

Then I made another set and put them in a pocket chart. I printed out the kid's names and made a rotation in the pocket chart.

Kids just take their baskets and find a spot in the room.

I do a few rotations every day at the end of my lesson. It works so much better than my old way of dragging the stuff out and placing stuff around the room.

    So, thanks SO MUCH!

    1. I don't have any zebra print math tub labels, sorry. I made the Touch Math numbers myself, but I haven't posted them anywhere for download because it is an actual program that you can purchase {copyright issues}.
